Overview

Melanie is a practicing litigator in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania. She is experienced in handling a wide variety of cases including commercial disputes, trade secret and non-compete violations, property disputes, family, fraud and consumer protection cases.

Melanie graduated from Saint Anselm College with a degree in Politics and minors in Economics and Public Policy Analysis while also serving as a co-chair for the New Hampshire Institute of Politics Ambassador Program. She then attended Widener Delaware Law where she became the Research Editor for the Widener Law Review and served as Vice President of the First-Generation Law Student Association. During law school, she was a member of the Delaware Criminal Defense clinic where she gained hands-on experience defending clients facing criminal charges in Chester County Pennsylvania. This clinic provided her with invaluable practical training, allowing her to apply her legal knowledge in real-world settings while advocating for clients’ rights and navigating complex legal issues. Her dedication to legal writing earned her the Judge Samuel G. DeSimone Writing Competition award, underscoring her strong analytical and communication skills. Following law school, Melanie clerked for the Honorable William F. Ziegler in New Jersey Superior Court Vicinage 15.
